About the OlmBoard-RP605x PCB

OlmBoard-RP605x is an open source PCB design by azerimaker, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 34.5 × 19.3 mm, with 15 components from 10 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the RP605K333B. By type, the board carries 7 capacitors, 4 connectors, 1 IC, 1 jumper, 1 inductor and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

RP605K is a compact ultra-low-power buck-boost converter module with a built-in battery monitor. Vin: 1.8-5.5V and Vout: 3.3V up to 300mA

Introducing our compact and ultra-low-power Buck-Boost Converter Module, designed using the high-performance RP605K333B DC/DC converter IC. This versatile module is perfect for powering a wide range of electronic devices, providing a stable 3.3V output (up to 300mA) from varying input sources ranging from 1.8V to 5.5V. This nifty little IC also features built-in Battery Monitor (BM) circuitry that, when enabled, divides the input voltage (VIN/3) and directly provides a buffered voltage to be measured by the ADC. These readings can be used to estimate the state of a battery.
