About the Zero Current Soft Power PCB

Zero Current Soft Power is an open source PCB design by baldengineer, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 64.6 × 28.5 mm, with 22 components from 20 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the NJM2870. By type, the board carries 11 connectors, 4 capacitors, 4 resistors, 2 diodes and 1 IC.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and retro computing designs in this gallery.

From the project

Originally intended to be a controller for a RetroPie. A soft power controller that allows for Raspberry Pi proper shutdown. Intention is to turn this into a "hat." This is a work in progress. It works for me, kinda.

For now, you can find more information at: https://hackaday.io/project/21625-raspberry-pi-soft-power-controller
