About the ReactionX---Hand-Held-Reaction-Time-Tester PCB

ReactionX---Hand-Held-Reaction-Time-Tester is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by chinn-yyy, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 107.5 × 60 mm, with 14 components from 4 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the XIAO-RP2040-DIP, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 8 LEDs, 4 switches, 1 IC and 1 connector.

From the project

Ever wanted to know your reaction time? Well look no further because this is a reaction time tester! Simply click the button and wait for the red light to turn green.

I was doing some math in class and this kid next to me was on this reaction time tester website. I thought to myself, "could I make that in real life?" As soon as I got home I started researching, now I'm here. When you plug it in, it immediately greets you by saying, "ReactionX" and the highscore. Click start to test. Wait about 3-7 seconds before the LEDs turn from red to green. Once they do click either of the big buttons and it shows how long it took. Click early? Nope! When you click early it greets you with the screen of death, "To early!"
