About the ArduSynth PCB
ArduSynth is an open source NXP PCB design by ChrisVeigl, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.8 × 99.8 mm, with 40 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Teensy-LC, from the NXP family. By type, the board carries 16 connectors, 6 resistors, 4 switches, 3 diodes, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.
It belongs with the audio and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

HW/SW for a low-cost Arduino-based audio synthesizer (based upon Mozzi Library)
Synthesizer sketches can be added / modified on demand. Currently there are two demo synth designs available, based upon:
* the "K'iin" Synthesizer by Taylan Cihan, see: http://digital.music.cornell.edu/taylancihan/kiin.html
* the "Thankyou Drone Synth" by Daniel Sinderson, see: https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/scraptured/phasemod-drone-synth-w-arduino-nano-mozzi-7ab2ff

ArduSynth: common questions
What microcontroller does the ArduSynth use?
The ArduSynth is built around the Teensy-LC, from the NXP family.
How big is the ArduSynth PCB?
The ArduSynth measures 99.8 × 99.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the ArduSynth?
40 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ArduSynth design files?
From the ChrisVeigl/ArduSynth repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ArduSynth design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ChrisVeigl. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ArduSynth without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
