In schematics folder whole KiCad's project is available. Also the full circuit design is available in PDF format:
- Global Declarations - All peripherals (relays, PoE devices, fan controller, etc.) are declared in globals.cpp. - Corresponding extern references are exposed in globals.h`. - This way, objects are globally accessible across the codebase.
- setup() - Initializes the global objects declared in globals.cpp. - Configures network stack (DHCP or static IP, based on saved settings). - Loads configuration parameters (e.g., password, IP) from EEPROM via env.

Wave box: common questions
What microcontroller does the Wave box use?
The Wave box is built around the Arduino_Mega2560_R3_Shield, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Wave box PCB?
The Wave box measures 128.8 × 141.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Wave box?
36 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Wave box design files?
From the Cingciong/wave_box repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Wave box design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Cingciong. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Wave box without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
