About the Sensor conditioning PCB

Sensor conditioning is an open source PCB design by Ciprian-LocalPulse, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 70 × 45 mm, with 13 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the AD8421. By type, the board carries 4 diodes, 4 resistors, 2 connectors, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.

It belongs with the sensors and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

Three PCB files, one per circuit schematic in hardware/schematics/, each with real component footprints placed on a board outline — not just a schematic-level BOM. No copper routing yet — that's a deliberately separate, not-yet-done step (see "Status" below).

Sensor conditioning: common questions

How big is the Sensor conditioning PCB?

The Sensor conditioning measures 70 × 45 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Sensor conditioning?

13 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Sensor conditioning design files?

From the Ciprian-LocalPulse/EMP-Guardian repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Sensor conditioning design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Ciprian-LocalPulse chose for the repository.
