About the Tiny85fancontrol PCB

Tiny85fancontrol is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by Colahall, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 25.4 × 25.4 mm, with 11 components from 11 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATTINY85-20P, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the DS18B20. By type, the board carries 3 resistors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 1 module, 1 transistor and 1 diode.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

Tiny85fancontrol: common questions

What microcontroller does the Tiny85fancontrol use?

The Tiny85fancontrol is built around the ATTINY85-20P, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Tiny85fancontrol PCB?

The Tiny85fancontrol measures 25.4 × 25.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Tiny85fancontrol?

11 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Tiny85fancontrol design files?

From the Colahall/tiny85fancontrol repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Tiny85fancontrol design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Colahall chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Tiny85fancontrol without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
