About the CD32-to-A500-gamepad PCB

CD32-to-A500-gamepad is an open source PCB design by CRG-Glen, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 129.3 × 40.4 mm, with 27 components from 23 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74LS165 and 74LS125. By type, the board carries 12 switches, 5 capacitors, 4 resistors, 2 ICs, 1 connector and 1 inductor.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

Replacement CD32 compatible PCB for The A500 gamepad

This is a replacement PCB for The A500 gamepad making it a true CD32 pad.

Based on Commodore CD32 gamepad schematics.

YouTube video on the design, assembly and testing of this project can be viewed here - https://youtu.be/vLGpuEnnuxA

Within the JLCPCB folder you will find Gerbers along with a BOM and CPL files suited to LSSC components.

I recommend having the board produced with the EINT finish and get JLC (or equal) to do all SMD work as its 0402 and very fiddly.
