Its main chip is the STM32F411CEUx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the AP1117-33 and PCM5102A. By type, the board carries 26 capacitors, 9 resistors, 4 ICs, 4 connectors, 3 jumpers and 2 switches.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

PCB for USB Audio DAC using STM32F411/401 IC and PCM5102A

This is a simple PCB for the perfboard-and-firmware project created by har-in-air at https://github.com/har-in-air/STM32F411USBAUDIO_DAC.

This project aims to create a very small, high-quality USB-C DAC, using KiCAD to make the PCB and OpenSCAD to make a simple 3D-printable enclosure. The firmware from the aforementioned project will be used as-is.

Soldering this project may be difficult; take a look at the perfboard option using the STM32 Black Pill and PCM5102A module if soldering small SMD components is outside of your capabilities.

STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC: common questions

What microcontroller does the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC use?

The STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC is built around the STM32F411CEUx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC PCB?

The STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC measures 63.1 × 21.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC?

50 components, from 21 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC design files?

From the DeflateAwning/STM32F411_USB_AUDIO_DAC_PCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which DeflateAwning chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the STM32F411 USB AUDIO DAC without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
