About the DAC7678 16TSSOP PCB

DAC7678 16TSSOP is an open source PCB design by dfieschko, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 15.8 × 20.8 mm, with 5 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MCF8316A1VRGFR. By type, the board carries 2 connectors, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A repository for breakout boards designed with KiCAD.

There are currently only files for the TSSOP-16 footprint chips. Files for the 24VQFN chips may be forthcoming.

This design was created only recently and hasn't even been realized physically, let alone tested! Test results will be added somewhere in the repository once they're ready.

I am also in the process of writing an Arduino library for communicating with the DAC7678, which can be found here: https://github.com/dfieschko/DAC7678-Arduino.
