Project Description- The Mini Spectrum Analyzer is an compact electronic device designed to detect and display radio frequency signals over selected frequency range. It uses ADF4351 frequency synthesizer to generate programmable local oscillator and ADL5801 mixer to convert received RF signal into intermediate frequency.

The KiCad project lives in the Dhruv2212-star/Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- repository on GitHub; these links point at the commit this page was built from.

Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer-: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- use?

The Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- is built around the STM32G031K8T6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- PCB?

The Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- measures 50 × 70 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer-?

61 components, from 38 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- design files?

From the Dhruv2212-star/Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Dhruv2212-star. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Mini-Spectrum-Analyzer- without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
