About the Totem trackpoint PCB
Totem trackpoint is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by DhruvBhatia0, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 258.8 × 94.4 mm, with 131 components from 23 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Waveshare RP2040-Zero (castellated), from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the TPS2553DBVR-1 and SN74LVC2G14DCKR. By type, the board carries 13 resistors, 9 capacitors, 6 ICs and 3 connectors.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

- download the ZIP file - upload the ZIP file to the website of the manufacturer. - sometimes the Gerber preview from JLCPCB can't display the PCB, even when the files are fine. In this case use these dimensions: 258.7mm * 94.35mm - PCB Thickness 1.6mm - 2 layers - PCB Qty as much as you like. One PCB is a full keyboard. - PCB Color Black (or any other color you like) - No impedance control - Surface Finish HASL(with lead) if you want the easiest soldering experience or LeadFree HASL. - Remove Order Number Yes

Totem trackpoint: common questions
What microcontroller does the Totem trackpoint use?
The Totem trackpoint is built around the Waveshare RP2040-Zero (castellated), from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Totem trackpoint PCB?
The Totem trackpoint measures 258.8 × 94.4 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Totem trackpoint?
131 components, from 23 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Totem trackpoint design files?
From the DhruvBhatia0/BlueBird repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Totem trackpoint design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which DhruvBhatia0 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Totem trackpoint without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
