About the Hvawg PCB

Hvawg is an open source PCB design by dteal, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 150 × 40 mm, with 55 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the L7805, C5947, DAC0808LCMX/NOPB, NE5532 and LM8261. By type, the board carries 27 capacitors, 18 resistors, 7 ICs and 3 diodes.

From the project

High voltage modular arbitrary waveform generator.

This is the first draft iteration of a modular arbitrary waveform generator intended to generate possibly tens of separate ±100V 1MHz signals for small capacitive loads, e.g., electrostatic actuators or ion traps.

WARNING: THIS BOARD IS DANGEROUS. IT USES SOMEWHAT HIGH VOLTAGES AT SOMEWHAT HIGH POWER. DO NOT BUILD, TEST, OR USE WITHOUT BOTH CAUTION AND KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. No guarantees or warranty or support is provided, etc.

Hvawg: common questions

How big is the Hvawg PCB?

The Hvawg measures 150 × 40 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Hvawg?

55 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Hvawg design files?

From the dteal/hvawg repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Hvawg design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with dteal. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
