About the Eez bb3plus cm5-mcu PCB
Eez bb3plus cm5-mcu is an open source STM32 PCB design by eez-open, published on GitHub under the TAPR-OHL-1.0 license. It is a 6-layer board measuring 55 × 40 mm, with 134 components from 37 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32H7R7L8H6H, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the AZ1117CH2-3.3TRG1, AZ1117CH-1.8TRG1, PI3USB102ZLEX, SN74LVC1G14DBVR and LAN8742A-CZ-TR. By type, the board carries 76 capacitors, 35 resistors, 11 ICs, 6 inductors, 5 crystals and 1 diode.
From the project
EEZ BB3+ MCU in CM5 form factor
The MCU module uses a high performance STM32 MCU and is pin compatible with Raspberry Pi CM5. The MCU cannot generate an HDMI compatible signal, so a TI TFP410 is used to convert 24-bit RGB to HDMI compatible signal. Since the BB3+ offers dual display: a built-in 5" TFT touchscreen and an external monitor, a 1:2 high speed mux (TS3DV642) is used for destination selection.
