From the project

Rasdaq Raspberry Pi Data Acquisition: Hardware, Firmware, Tools

Rasdaq is a 8-channel 16-bit high-speed ADC solution using the Raspberry Pi, with current measurement adapters. Rasdaq was developed by ETF (The Student’s Association for Applied Electronics at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University, Sweden) for academic research in power efficiency of graphic accelerators (GPUs).

Curry2: common questions

What microcontroller does the Curry2 use?

The Curry2 is built around the ATMEGA88-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Curry2 PCB?

The Curry2 measures 82 × 50.1 mm and is 1.6002 mm thick.

How many components are on the Curry2?

167 components, from 36 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Curry2 design files?

From the etf-lth/rasdaq repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Curry2 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with etf-lth. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Curry2 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
