From the project

PCB designed in KiCad — a 230V AC to 12V DC rectifier with filtering and LED indicator. Includes schematic and PCB layout files.

This repository contains my first-ever PCB design(done way back in second semester), created using KiCad 🎉 The project is a 230V AC to 12V DC rectifier circuit with a built-in filtering stage, designed to convert mains AC into a smooth DC output suitable for low-voltage electronics.

The circuit performs the following functions: 1. Steps down mains voltage 2. Converts AC to DC 3. Filters the DC output for smoother operation
