From the project

this is my first entery into the stm32 world... im building a stm32 numpad +4keys + knob + under glow hot swap build. i will be using zmk and jlcPCBA service.

to use this you will need to program it via qmk, and solder the pcb yourself. you will also need hardware to assemble it.

this should cost about 150$ this is the board. you should have the pcb seperated from the plate and back. you should assemble them with m2 screws and then put the switches in. qmk firmware will be coming shortly

ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6): common questions

What microcontroller does the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) use?

The ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) is built around the STM32F072CBT6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) PCB?

The ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) measures 119.1 × 108.6 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6)?

77 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) design files?

From the eyalbirger/random-ass-keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with eyalbirger. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the ScottoModules (STM32F072CBT6) without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
