About the OCXO PCB

OCXO is an open source PCB design by F6ITU, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 50 mm, with 16 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the KA78M05_TO252 and LM4140. By type, the board carries 5 capacitors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 resistors, 1 transistor and 1 diode.

It belongs with the rf & radio designs in this gallery.

From the project

10 MHz OCXO reference for OpenHPSDR transceivers (and stuff that needs such a reference)

Aiôn is the god of the cyclic time in ancien Greece

This very basic and simple OCXO 10 MHz clock could be used as a reference for an RF generator, a frequency meter, or any kind of equipment needing a precise timebase.

It has been originally designed to fit the "external clock input" of any modern Software Defined Radio, Angelia being one of them

This board has been integrated in the "Alex" pcb series

OCXO: common questions

How big is the OCXO PCB?

The OCXO measures 50 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the OCXO?

16 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the OCXO design files?

From the F6ITU/OCXO repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the OCXO design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with F6ITU. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
