About the EuroClockMD TwoBoards PCB

EuroClockMD TwoBoards is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by fablabnk, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 30 × 128.5 mm, with 37 components from 21 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 12 diodes, 10 resistors, 9 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 module and 1 switch.

From the project

This is an attempt to make a PCB version of Hagiwo's Clock Multi Divide module.

- I'm using the schematic symbol for Arduino Nano v3.x, check that this matches my actual Nano - Change pin order of Eurocad 2x5 pin power symbol - Update screw hole positions on panel template - mine fall between two rail screw holes - centre is: 3mm down from edge, 5.08mm across from edge, 3.2 in diameter, seems correct

EuroClockMD TwoBoards: common questions

What microcontroller does the EuroClockMD TwoBoards use?

The EuroClockMD TwoBoards is built around the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the EuroClockMD TwoBoards PCB?

The EuroClockMD TwoBoards measures 30 × 128.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the EuroClockMD TwoBoards?

37 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the EuroClockMD TwoBoards design files?

From the fablabnk/HagiwoClockMultiDivide repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the EuroClockMD TwoBoards design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with fablabnk. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the EuroClockMD TwoBoards without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
