- Input Voltage: 6.5V-15V(External Source Vin) 5V (USB). Both can be used at the same time. - 5V Output Current: 1A (External Source) 500mA (USB) - 3.3V Output Current: 500mA (External Source) 250 mA (USB) - Polarity Protection (External Source) diode D2 - Overcurrent Protection: None (External Source) 1A (USB) - 5V Autoselector: can take both USB and external source. A diode will avoid short circuit - External Input Polarity protection: A diode will protect the circuit from a wrongly inserted battery.

Easyduino Atmega: common questions

What microcontroller does the Easyduino Atmega use?

The Easyduino Atmega is built around the ATMEGA328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Easyduino Atmega PCB?

The Easyduino Atmega measures 68.8 × 53.6 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Easyduino Atmega?

35 components, from 20 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Easyduino Atmega design files?

From the Hanqaqa/Easyduino repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Easyduino Atmega design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which Hanqaqa chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Easyduino Atmega without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
