About the FlazeMIDI PCB
FlazeMIDI is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by FlazeDev, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 104.8 × 150 mm, with 54 components from 4 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 28 switches, 25 diodes and 1 IC.
It belongs with the audio and keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
This is a simple 25 key MIDI Controller with 3 rotary encoders. I used a Raspberry Pi Pico as the brain for this MIDI Controller.

The case consists of 3 parts, the top cover, bottom cover and a stand that attaches to the bottom. Everything is connected using m3 heat set inserts and screws. I made the case in onshape. here's the link for the onshape project:- https://cad.onshape.com/documents/0f47473beb05ba1bc00654df/w/e1cbcdd202a0a0f5e24ed7bd/e/dbeb9d6fbd234f685e1c68c6

FlazeMIDI: common questions
What microcontroller does the FlazeMIDI use?
The FlazeMIDI is built around the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the FlazeMIDI PCB?
The FlazeMIDI measures 104.8 × 150 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the FlazeMIDI?
54 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the FlazeMIDI design files?
From the FlazeDev/FlazeMIDI repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the FlazeMIDI design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with FlazeDev. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the FlazeMIDI without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
