About the Esp32FC PCB
Esp32FC is an open source ESP32 PCB design by fxrnando, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 96.2 × 65.9 mm, with 30 components from 15 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the esp32-wemos-d1-mini, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 14 connectors, 7 capacitors, 4 ICs, 3 resistors, 1 transistor and 1 buzzer.
It belongs with the robotics & motion, rf & radio and power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
This project is about creating a PCB board for the rtlopez esp-fc project
This repository contains the PCB designs and hardware documentation for a flight controller extension board based on the esp-fc project. The board is designed to connect an ESP32 microcontroller to a set of peripherals commonly used in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and robotics.
The project is intended to be developed using modular components commonly found in Arduino projects. This makes it easier for hobbyists to source and manipulate the parts, facilitating both assembly and PCB construction.

Esp32FC: common questions
What microcontroller does the Esp32FC use?
The Esp32FC is built around the esp32-wemos-d1-mini, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Esp32FC PCB?
The Esp32FC measures 96.2 × 65.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Esp32FC?
30 components, from 15 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Esp32FC design files?
From the fxrnando/esp32FC-PCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Esp32FC design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which fxrnando chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Esp32FC without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
