An LTE-M / NB-IoT cellular modem built into the Framework Laptop Expansion Card form factor, with a native USB-C plug.
The design is a clean re-implementation of Aurélien Jarno's LTE-M dongle, re-housed in the 26 × 30 mm Framework card outline and converted from USB-A to USB-C.
- SIMCom SIM7080G Cat-M1 / NB-IoT modem with integrated GNSS - USB-C plug (USB 2.0) directly into a Framework expansion bay - CC1 / CC2 pulldowns (5.1 kΩ) so the host enumerates the card and supplies VBUS - On-board nanoSIM holder (back side) - TPS62A01 buck regulator for the modem rails - TPD3F303 USB ESD / EMI…
