About the Musicgame-Controller PCB
Musicgame-Controller is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Gnoled5660, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 76 × 60 mm, with 8 components from 5 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RASPBERRY_PI_PICO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the adafruit-MAX98357.
It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.
From the project
This PCB is a rather simple PCB, where the premade modules are soldered on top of it. There are no components that need to be preassembled. All the components are big enough to be soldered by hand.

This PCB is a two layer PCB, where the red tracks function as signal tracks and the blue tracks as power supply tracks.
Many components need to be soldered on to the PCB too. It is recommended to use header pins between the Pico 2 board and the PCB. After everything is soldered, you need the connection cables to connect the PCB with the buttons and joysticks. Another cable is used to connect the…

Musicgame-Controller: common questions
What microcontroller does the Musicgame-Controller use?
The Musicgame-Controller is built around the RASPBERRY_PI_PICO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Musicgame-Controller PCB?
The Musicgame-Controller measures 76 × 60 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Musicgame-Controller?
8 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Musicgame-Controller design files?
From the Gnoled5660/Musicgame-Controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Musicgame-Controller design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Gnoled5660. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Musicgame-Controller without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
