About the Output feedback PCB

Output feedback is an open source PCB design by hicancan, published on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 35 × 25 mm, with 10 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ACPL-K376-560E. By type, the board carries 5 resistors, 3 connectors, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.

Development candidate. Do not fabricate, connect to mains, or treat any signal as a safety indication. Baseline EVT-A files were not edited. This is a separate, routed Rev B source module, not a certified socket or a release to energize.

A 35 × 25 × 1.6 mm, two-layer module senses differential voltage at the actual output socket L and N contacts, after every switched pole. It uses a full-wave AC-input threshold optocoupler, four protective-impedance resistors and isolated 3.3 V logic. It needs one MCU GPIO capable of observing pulses, plus isolated power and ground. No load current is…

Output feedback: common questions

How big is the Output feedback PCB?

The Output feedback measures 35 × 25 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Output feedback?

10 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Output feedback design files?

From the hicancan/carbentra-smart-plug repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Output feedback design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its AGPL-3.0 license, which hicancan chose for the repository.
