About the Electronics PCB

Electronics is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by hjosugi, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a board, with 85 components from 7 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RP2040-Zero GPIO0..GPIO11, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the TPD4E05U06DQA. By type, the board carries 36 switches, 36 diodes, 6 resistors, 4 ICs and 3 connectors.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

split-keyboard.kicadsch`は、初号機36キーのmatrixと8P8C保護回路を確認するKiCad 10参照回路です。 PCBはまだなく、このディレクトリだけで発注できる状態ではありません。

回路の正本となる反復構造は../generateschematic.pyにあり、 36キーのIDと配置元はdocs/layout/36-key-choc-v1.layout.json`です。

Electronics: common questions

What microcontroller does the Electronics use?

The Electronics is built around the RP2040-Zero GPIO0..GPIO11, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How many components are on the Electronics?

85 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Electronics design files?

From the hjosugi/electronics repository on GitHub, which has the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Electronics design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which hjosugi chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Electronics without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
