About the Copper reference-A6 PCB

Copper reference-A6 is an open source PCB design by HoodPaul, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 108 × 25.4 mm, with 17 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the HY5118160BJC-60 and HY5118160JC-70. By type, the board carries 4 ICs, 4 capacitors, 4 resistors and 1 connector.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

From the project

A common PCB for 4 MB single-sided and 8 MB double-sided 5 V FPM SIMMs, developed for Amiga 4000 motherboard memory configurations. Current revision: A7.

A common PCB for 4 MB single-sided and 8 MB double-sided 5 V FPM SIMMs, developed for Amiga 4000 motherboard memory configurations. Current revision: A7.

The project began with a wish to make RAM that visually matches Re-Amiga systems: black PCB, white silkscreen and gold contacts and exposed pads. It is a collaboration between Paul of UK Computing Limited, Jon of JMC Electronics and AI assistance through Codex.
