This is derived from my old board named "Whistle" (which honestly was trash lmao)

- 150MHz clock speed - 520KB RAM - 2MB flash memory - 48 GPIOs (4 used for onboard LED + I²S connection) - 8 analog-capable pins - LiPo battery charging (IP5306) - Audio DAC (PCM5102A) - Debug pins - USB-C connector

Centauri2350: common questions

What microcontroller does the Centauri2350 use?

The Centauri2350 is built around the C39843328, from the Raspberry Pi family.

How big is the Centauri2350 PCB?

The Centauri2350 measures 28.2 × 71.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Centauri2350?

60 components, from 22 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Centauri2350 design files?

From the hridcode/centauri2350 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Centauri2350 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hridcode. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Centauri2350 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
