About the Arduino music box PCB
Arduino music box is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by hschwar2, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 103.5 × 87 mm, with 24 components from 15 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 9 diodes, 8 resistors, 4 switches, 1 module and 1 buzzer.
It belongs with the audio and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
Arduino interactive music box featuring a 4-button diode-OR hardware interrupt circuit, tone-to-color PWM mapping, and real-time analog volume/brightness control.
A complete embedded hardware and firmware system built around the ATmega328P (Arduino Uno R3) platform. This project features a custom-designed 2-layer PCB shield, real-time song switching via dynamic loop interrupts, tone-synced 24-bit RGB lighting, diode-OR hardware logic, and dynamic potentiometer audio scaling
Designed, routed, and documented using KiCad 9.0.

Arduino music box: common questions
What microcontroller does the Arduino music box use?
The Arduino music box is built around the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Arduino music box PCB?
The Arduino music box measures 103.5 × 87 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Arduino music box?
24 components, from 15 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Arduino music box design files?
From the hschwar2/arduino-music-box repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Arduino music box design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hschwar2. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Arduino music box without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
