About the Motorized faders PCB
Motorized faders is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Ilosariph, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 155 × 93 mm, with 40 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
From the project
RP2040 board (Pico-clone with RTL8720DN WiFi — GP4/GP5 not exposed) + SparkFun TB6612FNG dual motor driver + Alps RS60N11M9 motorized faders.
RP2040 board (Pico-clone with RTL8720DN WiFi — GP4/GP5 not exposed) + SparkFun TB6612FNG dual motor driver + Alps RS60N11M9 motorized faders.
The Pico gets power from USB. The 10V supply powers the motors only. All grounds must be connected together.
If the fader moves in the wrong direction, swap A and B.
Terminal T (touch) is unused — the firmware detects move completion from the PID state machine (deadband + settle timer), not from touch.

Motorized faders: common questions
What microcontroller does the Motorized faders use?
The Motorized faders is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Motorized faders PCB?
The Motorized faders measures 155 × 93 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Motorized faders?
40 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Motorized faders design files?
From the Ilosariph/motorized-faders repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Motorized faders design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Ilosariph. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Motorized faders without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
