About the Guepard one PCB

Guepard one is an open source NXP PCB design by IlyaasAitSimmou, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 85 × 85 mm, with 21 components from 13 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the TEENSY4.0, from the NXP family. Other key parts include the HSCDANN1.6BASA5, HSCDANN060PASA5, ADAFRUIT_MAX31855 and BOB-12009. By type, the board carries 10 capacitors, 7 ICs, 2 inductors and 1 connector.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

Guepard one: common questions

What microcontroller does the Guepard one use?

The Guepard one is built around the TEENSY4.0, from the NXP family.

How big is the Guepard one PCB?

The Guepard one measures 85 × 85 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Guepard one?

21 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Guepard one design files?

From the IlyaasAitSimmou/guepard_one_pcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Guepard one design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with IlyaasAitSimmou. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Guepard one without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
