Minimising disturbances to enable productive remote work - In today's remote work environment, unintentional interruptions can disrupt productivity and communication. This project aims to solve that challenge by creating an IoT-powered availability indicator that minimizes disturbances during critical work activities such as calls and meetings.
This is version 2.0, building on the foundations of the original version developed in 2020. The initial solution utilized an ESP32 microcontroller based development board to poll the Webex API and display availability using an LED strip. While…

Disturbance free calling: common questions
What microcontroller does the Disturbance free calling use?
The Disturbance free calling is built around the MOUDLE14P-SMD-2.54-21X17.8MM, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Disturbance free calling PCB?
The Disturbance free calling measures 72.5 × 20 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Disturbance free calling?
22 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Disturbance free calling design files?
From the ImSeanConroy/disturbance-free-calling repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Disturbance free calling design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which ImSeanConroy chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Disturbance free calling without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
