From the project

A powerful yet compact 3D printer motherboard that supports TMC stepsticks, fans, heaters, screens and thermistors

The Cheetah MX4 Mini is a fully open source, powerful, yet affordable 3D printer motherboard! At just 80x90mm wide, it's an extremely compact motherboard with many cool features! This is one of the first PCB's I've ever created, so it might have some flaws. ## Custom Features - 4 TMC stepstick drivers that support UART and SPI - Sensorless and endstop homing configured using jumpers - 3 Thermistor input connectors - Support for parallel and serial LCD's and TFT displays - 3 Fan output connectors - Support for the BLTouch Probe (servo and probe connectors too) - 2 High amperage heater outputs…

Cheetah-MX4-Mini: common questions

What microcontroller does the Cheetah-MX4-Mini use?

The Cheetah-MX4-Mini is built around the STM32H743VIT6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Cheetah-MX4-Mini PCB?

The Cheetah-MX4-Mini measures 81.6 × 88.8 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Cheetah-MX4-Mini?

165 components, from 46 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Cheetah-MX4-Mini design files?

From the KaiPereira/Cheetah-MX4-Mini repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Cheetah-MX4-Mini design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which KaiPereira chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Cheetah-MX4-Mini without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
