From the project

Learning-oriented hardware project for an RS-775 motor driver system built around KiCad.

Learning-oriented hardware project for an RS-775 motor driver system built around KiCad.

The current design is split into two boards:

- hardware/logic/ for control, sensing, and communication - hardware/power/ for motor drive and power handling

Main devices currently used in the repository:

- ATmega4809 for control - VNH5019A-E for motor driving - AS5600 for magnetic angle sensing - MCP2515 + ATA6561 for CAN support

Power: common questions

How big is the Power PCB?

The Power measures 75 × 75 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Power?

22 components, from 15 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Power design files?

From the Keisuke063/rs775-smart-motor-driver repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Power design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Keisuke063. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
