About the Neurx PCB
Neurx is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by kemolumi, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 316.2 × 152.4 mm, with 167 components from 14 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 83 diodes, 45 switches, 13 relays, 12 fuses, 5 transformers and 2 connectors.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
My very own custom-made keyboard
A mechanical keyboard aiming for maximum customizability.
- A 75% keyboard (with numpad mode can be toggled). - 4 programmable keys + 1 knob. - Firmware is compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico (and Pico W), written in Rust. - Plug and play, no driver needed, with 1000Hz polling rate. - Software for Windows, provides better control over programmable keys.

Neurx: common questions
What microcontroller does the Neurx use?
The Neurx is built around the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Neurx PCB?
The Neurx measures 316.2 × 152.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Neurx?
167 components, from 14 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Neurx design files?
From the kemolumi/neurx repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Neurx design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which kemolumi chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Neurx without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
