About the 60ketchup PCB
60ketchup is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Ketchupism, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 290 × 125 mm, with 128 components from 10 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 66 switches, 61 diodes and 1 module.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Split Alice horizontal-staggering keyboard
- 61 keys (number keys, no arrows keys) - hot-swaps - gasket-mount
I started with project somewhat weeks ago after finishing my first keyboard. There was so many improvements and changes I could of make if I made another keyboard. I tried to make a curved Alice, split wired keyboard. Unfortunately, I ended up with not many days to work on it and time was running out before the program ended. I had to edit my schematics and PCB to fit the new keyboard criteria. I spent the rest of the days just then working on the PCB and github.

60ketchup: common questions
What microcontroller does the 60ketchup use?
The 60ketchup is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the 60ketchup PCB?
The 60ketchup measures 290 × 125 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the 60ketchup?
128 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the 60ketchup design files?
From the Ketchupism/60ketchup repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the 60ketchup design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Ketchupism. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the 60ketchup without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
