About the Ch32 led PCB

Ch32 led is an open source RISC-V PCB design by kingovchouffe, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 11.5 × 26.2 mm, with 8 components from 6 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the CH32V003FxUx, from the RISC-V family. By type, the board carries 3 resistors, 1 IC, 1 connector, 1 switch and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

This repository contains KiCad hardware designs for a GNSS-oriented clock and LED matrix display. The primary design combines an STM32C0-series controller with an ATGM336H GNSS receiver; separate files capture a CH32V003-based 5x7 display design.

Ch32 led: common questions

What microcontroller does the Ch32 led use?

The Ch32 led is built around the CH32V003FxUx, from the RISC-V family.

How big is the Ch32 led PCB?

The Ch32 led measures 11.5 × 26.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Ch32 led?

8 components, from 6 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Ch32 led design files?

From the kingovchouffe/clk_led_matrix repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Ch32 led design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with kingovchouffe. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Ch32 led without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
