Obstacle-Detecting Robot Car By Koray A fully autonomous robot which detects the end of the surface its on and stops before falling off

• Does a specific maneuver based on which sensor detects first

To use it you need to put it on a flat surface and get your 2 9V batteries. The first one you will connect to the barrel jack of the arduino with a battery clip and the other one you will connect to the screws 12V and gnd of the L298N driver and then after that it turns on and starts moving. I recommend firstly connecting the driver battery so you have time to put the batteries in the car so…

Koray s obstacle detecting car: common questions

What microcontroller does the Koray s obstacle detecting car use?

The Koray s obstacle detecting car is built around the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How many components are on the Koray s obstacle detecting car?

6 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Koray s obstacle detecting car design files?

From the koray9012/Koray-s-obstacle-detecting-car repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Koray s obstacle detecting car design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with koray9012. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Koray s obstacle detecting car without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
