About the Keeb keyboard PCB
Keeb keyboard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Kozachokk, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 368.3 × 125.4 mm, with 370 components from 12 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 91 LEDs, 91 diodes, 91 capacitors, 4 switches, 1 module and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Custom keyboard for keeb hackclub
So I built a keyboard from scratch, including the pcb and the case themselves. I started this project as sort of an introduction to electrical stuff and pcb designing. During my journey, I learned a lot about pcb designing, wiring, placing vias, creating schematics. I also learned to do keyboard layout, how to use kicad and onshape, where I learned how to create keyboard cases

Keeb keyboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Keeb keyboard use?
The Keeb keyboard is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Keeb keyboard PCB?
The Keeb keyboard measures 368.3 × 125.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Keeb keyboard?
370 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Keeb keyboard design files?
From the Kozachokk/keeb-keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Keeb keyboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Kozachokk. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Keeb keyboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
