About the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board

Stm32-adxl345-carrier board is an open source STM32 PCB design by KrishChalana, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 96 × 46.5 mm, with 20 components from 11 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F411CEUx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the ADXL345 and AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 11 capacitors, 4 resistors, 3 ICs and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the sensors and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

Custom PCB integrating STM32F411 + ADXL345 accelerometer over I2C, designed in KiCad. Register-level firmware companion project available separately

A custom PCB integrating an STM32F411 (Black Pill) with an ADXL345 accelerometer over I2C, including onboard power regulation. Designed in KiCad as a hardware extension of my bare-metal STM32 driver work.

Status: Design complete, ERC- and DRC-clean, fully routed with power input and SWD programming headers. Design files only — not yet fabricated.

This board takes a 5V input, regulates it down to 3.3V, and powers both the STM32F411 and an ADXL345 accelerometer connected over I2C. It's built as a companion to my register-level (no-HAL) firmware drivers, moving the same STM32 + ADXL345 setup…

Stm32-adxl345-carrier board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board use?

The Stm32-adxl345-carrier board is built around the STM32F411CEUx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board?

The Stm32-adxl345-carrier board measures 96 × 46.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board?

20 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board design files?

From the KrishChalana/stm32-adxl345-carrier-board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with KrishChalana. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Stm32-adxl345-carrier board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
