About the Kaiser-Pet- PCB

Kaiser-Pet- is an open source ESP32 PCB design by kunikuzushii, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 82.8 × 87.3 mm, with 9 components from 7 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the XIAO-ESP32-C3-SMD, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 3 switches, 2 resistors, 1 IC and 1 battery holder.

My custom themed tamagotchi has: - RBG Screen - Higher quality pixel art - Photoresister (light sensor)

and most importantly... ITS FREAKING MICHAEL KAISER!!!

You take care of Kaiser from Blue Lock (animanga) like a standard tamagotchi. For example, you monitor their health, energy, and hunger levels and take care of them accordingly.

Kaiser-Pet-: common questions

What microcontroller does the Kaiser-Pet- use?

The Kaiser-Pet- is built around the XIAO-ESP32-C3-SMD, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Kaiser-Pet- PCB?

The Kaiser-Pet- measures 82.8 × 87.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Kaiser-Pet-?

9 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Kaiser-Pet- design files?

From the kunikuzushii/Kaiser-Pet- repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Kaiser-Pet- design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with kunikuzushii. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Kaiser-Pet- without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
