About the Display and comms board

Display and comms board is an open source PCB design by LeHack, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 95.2 × 54.2 mm, with 26 components from 14 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the RN4020, 74HC14, 74HC238, 74HC595 and 74HC4066. By type, the board carries 13 resistors, 6 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 switches, 2 capacitors and 1 diode.

It belongs with the iot & wireless, displays & leds and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Particulate matter pollution monitoring system (:poland: System Pomiaru Stężenia Pyłu w powietrzu)

One of the goals of the project was to make it modular and easily fittable into a housing (in order to protect the electronics from weather elements). Therefore I designed two easily detachable (via flat cable) PCBs: * sensors PCB - for all the sensors to be joined together (excluding the PM10 sensor, which is attached via a separate cable, due to the nature of PM10 measurements)
