From the project

Thermo-hygrometer code, powered on ATMega, AHT10 sensor and 7 Segment Display.

Thermo-hygrometer code, powered on ATMega, AHT10 sensor and 7 Segment Display.

TermoHumi is a compact embedded firmware project for an ATmega8 microcontroller that reads temperature and humidity from an AHT10 sensor and displays the values on a multiplexed 4-digit 7-segment LED display. The display alternates between temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%) every few seconds.

TermoHumi: common questions

What microcontroller does the TermoHumi use?

The TermoHumi is built around the ATmega8L-8A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the TermoHumi PCB?

The TermoHumi measures 60.1 × 20.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the TermoHumi?

91 components, from 26 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the TermoHumi design files?

From the LinJesUxUs/TermoHumi repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the TermoHumi design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with LinJesUxUs. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the TermoHumi without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
