About the Edrumulus front panel PCB
Edrumulus front panel is an open source Raspberry Pi PCB design by llescano, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65 × 56.5 mm, with 22 components from 9 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins, from the Raspberry Pi family. By type, the board carries 13 resistors, 6 switches and 1 connector.
It belongs with the audio and wearables designs in this gallery.
From the project
ESP32-S3 E-Drum Trigger System with Positional Sensing - Port of Edrumulus algorithms
Edrumulus is a high quality Open Source e-drum trigger module software which runs on a micro processor.
Project requirements: - The trigger performance shall be similar to the Roland TD-27. - Overall latency should be as small as possible. The goal is to achieve a latency < 10 ms. - The required analog front end design shall be as simple as possible using the fewest number of parts possible.

Edrumulus front panel: common questions
What microcontroller does the Edrumulus front panel use?
The Edrumulus front panel is built around the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins, from the Raspberry Pi family.
How big is the Edrumulus front panel PCB?
The Edrumulus front panel measures 65 × 56.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 0.57 mm thick.
How many components are on the Edrumulus front panel?
22 components, from 9 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Edrumulus front panel design files?
From the llescano/esp32-drumpad repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Edrumulus front panel design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with llescano. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Edrumulus front panel without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
