About the Pico probe programmer PCB
Pico probe programmer is an open source PCB design by martijnvwezel, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 43.2 × 27.9 mm, with 18 components from 10 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the LD3985M33R_SOT23 and TINY2040. By type, the board carries 5 capacitors, 4 resistors, 3 connectors, 3 diodes, 1 IC and 1 module.
It belongs with the usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.
From the project
The simple pico can be used to program other devices. Raspberry pi made such an effort. However there is no board yet, that is open-source and can be used with OpenOCD as a general-purpose programmer
Then go to the folder pico-probe, run the commands:
This will generate picoprobe.uf2. Or use the prebuild file: binaries/picoprobe.uf2. I prebuild this file, so I can quickly update it to a programmer if I need it again.
