Each major release (x.0.0) is branched out of master. Subsequent fixes (minor or not) are commited on those branches and tagged accordingly.
Master branch is most times under active development, so expect things to break. For production ready and previous releases source files check tags and branches.

UPSat COMMS: common questions
What microcontroller does the UPSat COMMS use?
The UPSat COMMS is built around the STM32F407VG, from the STM32 family.
How big is the UPSat COMMS PCB?
The UPSat COMMS measures 92.5 × 92.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.55 mm thick.
How many components are on the UPSat COMMS?
190 components, from 78 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the UPSat COMMS design files?
From the mcgillspace/comms_hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the UPSat COMMS design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-1.2 license, which mcgillspace chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the UPSat COMMS without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
