About the WayBoard PCB

WayBoard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by mihranrazaa, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 311.9 × 100 mm, with 128 components from 10 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 66 switches, 61 diodes and 1 IC.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

The files for the PCB and Schematics are available in the PCB folder and gerber files are added in the Production folder..

The step files for the keyboard are available in the CAD folder and also in the Production Folder.

Can't add a combine image of pcb with components my laptop can't handle all that together.. Other than this you just have to purchase the Components given below and assemble them.

WayBoard: common questions

What microcontroller does the WayBoard use?

The WayBoard is built around the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the WayBoard PCB?

The WayBoard measures 311.9 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the WayBoard?

128 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the WayBoard design files?

From the mihranrazaa/WayBoard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the WayBoard design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which mihranrazaa chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the WayBoard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
