About the EVAL-MP8862 PCB

EVAL-MP8862 is an open source PCB design by MisterHW, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 25 × 13 mm, with 20 components from 11 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MP8862GQ-0000-Z. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 3 resistors, 1 IC, 1 connector, 1 jumper and 1 inductor.

It belongs with the power & battery and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A self-contained MP8862 1..20.5V/2A buck-boost DCDC module for breadboard, evaluation and deployment

EVAL-MP8862 is a compact and self-contained DCDC module for 2.8 .. 22 V in to 1 .. 20.47 V output conversion. It is designed to leverage the features provided by MP8862GQ-0000 to provide digital control over the output voltage (10 mV steps) and current limit (50 mA steps or depending on resistor programming).

In its compact 13x25 mm² form factor with 2.54 mm (0.1") pitch pin header, EVAL-MP8862 can be used for evaluation on the breadboard as well as in application circuits.
