From the project
A KiCad schematic for a compact, battery-powered RF signal generator built around an Arduino Nano and an Adafruit Si5351 clock-generator module.
A KiCad schematic for a compact, battery-powered RF signal generator built around an Arduino Nano and an Adafruit Si5351 clock-generator module.
The Arduino Nano drives the Si5351 over I²C to produce a tunable RF output, with a rotary encoder for frequency adjustment, a push button for band selection, and an SSD1306 OLED for the user interface. An S-meter input is provided for signal-strength readout.

Arduino si5351-rf signal generator: common questions
What microcontroller does the Arduino si5351-rf signal generator use?
The Arduino si5351-rf signal generator is built around the Arduino Nano, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How many components are on the Arduino si5351-rf signal generator?
31 components, from 27 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Arduino si5351-rf signal generator design files?
From the mohit716/arduino-si5351-rf-signal-generator repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Arduino si5351-rf signal generator design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with mohit716. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Arduino si5351-rf signal generator without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
