About the Pico w dual serial PCB
Pico w dual serial is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by n1kdo, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 86.4 × 76.2 mm, with 59 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the PicoW, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MAX3232 and LM7805_TO220. By type, the board carries 40 test points, 7 capacitors, 3 ICs, 2 diodes, 1 connector and 1 fuse.
It belongs with the rf & radio designs in this gallery.
From the project
N1KDO Raspberry Pi Pico-W Dual Serial Interface.
This is a simple board that supports two RS-232 serial ports (TXD & RXD only) with a Raspberry PI Pico-W. This is useful to internet-enable devices that support a serial interface.
This board is sized for a Hammond Manufacturing 1591XXSFLBK enclosure.

Pico w dual serial: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pico w dual serial use?
The Pico w dual serial is built around the PicoW, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Pico w dual serial PCB?
The Pico w dual serial measures 86.4 × 76.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Pico w dual serial?
59 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pico w dual serial design files?
From the n1kdo/pico-w-dual-serial repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pico w dual serial design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-SA-4.0 license, which n1kdo chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Pico w dual serial without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
